The Carpenter Performing Arts Center is located at 6200 Atherton St., on the campus of California State University, Long Beach. The center is just off the 405-Fwy, between the 605-Fwy and 710-Fwy interchanges.
Safe and convenient parking in front of the theatre is $5. (CSULB operated - Exact change recommended.)
FROM LOS ANGELES: Take the 405-Fwy South to the Palo Verde exit. Turn RIGHT onto southbound Palo Verde. Pass Stearns and turn RIGHT on Atherton St. Take the 1ST LEFT onto campus and park in Lot 12, adjacent to the theatre.
FROM ORANGE COUNTY: Take the 405-Fwy North to the Palo Verde exit. Turn LEFT onto southbound Palo Verde. Pass Stearns and turn RIGHT on Atherton St. Take the 1ST LEFT onto campus and park in Lot 12, adjacent to the theatre.
FROM 605 FWY - Take the 605-Fwy South to the 405-Fwy North. Take the Palo Verde exit. Turn LEFT onto southbound Palo Verde. Pass Stearns and turn RIGHT on Atherton St. Take the 1ST LEFT onto campus and park in Lot 12, adjacent to the theatre.
*Due to freeway construction, we recommend using the Palos Verdes exit off of the 405-Fwy. Please allow additional travel time for traffic. For more information, please visit OCTA.net.
