Classroom Connections
Classroom Connections goes beyond exposing students to performing arts it brings the touring artists into the schools to demonstrate the process of making art, then welcomes the students into the theatre to see the finished product. Students are given the opportunity to experience theatre from the audience, and to interact one-on-one with the artists in their own classroom. The Carpenter Center also hosts several Story Contests each year to encourage reading and foster creativity in Long Beach students. To learn more, click here.
