The Cultural Heritage Choir is a Grammy-nominated, percussion-driven, vocal ensemble whose mission is to help preserve and share the rich musical traditions of African-American music, rooted in the Deep South and strongly connected to the choir's West African and Caribbean origins.

The son of jazz pianist and composer, Thelonious Monk, T.S. Monk is an acclaimed jazz drummer. He is dedicated to advancing the appreciation of jazz music, especially among students: in the classroom, he shares memories and explores the role of his legendary father in the history of music. From his own album, "Monk on Monk", T.S. gives his audiences a glimpse of the human side of genius and musical creativity.
